CYCLING KING 2023 DETAILS

INTRODUCTION:

1. This is 3rd edition of Cycling King. It is strava based virtual cycling event.

2. This event is organised by INDIAN CYCLISTS 2020.

3. Registrations are open from 1st December 2022 through INDIAN CYCLISTS 2020 android App available on play store.

4. Registrations are open for all ages, across the country.

5. Event will start from 1st January 2023 and will end on 31st January 2023.

EVENT CATEGORY:

A. SOLO (FOR INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANTS):

1. Your individual cycling score shall be counted for leaderboard.

2. Minimum cycling km per ride is 20km.

3. Maximum ride per ride considerable is 50km.

4. Maximum rides allowed per day is two (02).

5. Minimum days required to qualify the event is any 15 days out of 31 days of the month.

6. 50+ age participants will get 1.2x factor. 60+ age participants will get 1.25x factor

7. Top 5 males and Top 5 females shall be awarded with trophy and title of CYCLING KING & CYCLING QUEEN shall be given to those who will get perfect score of 1550 km in 31 days as per rules.

B. DUO (FOR A PAIR OF TWO PARTICIPANTS):

1. Individual cycling score of both partners shall be counted for leaderboard. Partners will be provided by Indian Cyclists 2020 Team through lottery among DUO registered participants.

2. Minimum cycling km per ride is 20km.

3. Maximum ride per ride considerable is 60km.

4. Maximum rides allowed per day is two (02).

5. Minimum days required to qualify the event is any 15 days out of 31 days of the month for both partners.

6. 50+ age participants will get 1.2x factor. 60+ age participants will get 1.25x factor. Female will get 1.2x additional factor but sum of all factors can not be more than 1.4x in any case.

7. Individual with minimum score of 1550 km (inclusive additional age and gender factor) as per rules of event shall be awarded with CYCLING KING & CYCLING QUEEN.

8. Top 5 DUO pairs will get a WINNER TROPHY individually along with surprise gift from INDIAN CYCLISTS 2020 worth 500 INR INDIVIDUALLY.

TICKET CATEGORIES FOR SOLO:

1. EARLY BIRD (250 INR): Applicable for first 50 participants. It's the substitute of SILVER TICKET which includes an event poster, medal and e-certificate. You can upgrade it later.

2. SILVER TICKET (350 INR):  It includes an event poster, beautifully crafted 3D medal and e-certificate. Medal shall be sent through parcel/courier to registered address only incase participant qualifies. Participation certificate shall be given to all.

3. GOLD TICKET (550 INR): It includes an event poster, beautifully crafted 3D medal, e-certificate and especially designed souvenir for the event and bandana. Medal shall be sent through parcel/courier to registered address only incase participant qualifies, souvenir shall be sent in anycase. Participation certificate shall be given to all.

Note: Through website all prices will be 50 INR more per ticket in SOLO so if you are using android please download the INDIAN CYCLISTS 2020 app to register the event.

4. PLATINUM TICKET (1050 INR): It includes an event poster, beautifully crafted 3D medal, e-certificate, especially designed souvenir for the event, SPECIALLY designed dry fit T-SHIRT and bandana. Medal shall be sent through parcel/courier to registered address only incase participant qualifies, rest things shall be sent through parcel. Participation certificate shall be given to all.

TICKET CATEGORIES FOR DUO:

1. SILVER TICKET (400 INR):  It includes an event poster, beautifully crafted 3D medal and e-certificate. Medal shall be sent through parcel/courier to registered address only incase participant qualifies. Participation certificate shall be given to all.

2. GOLD TICKET (600 INR): It includes an event poster, beautifully crafted 3D medal, e-certificate and especially designed souvenir for the event and bandana. Medal shall be sent through parcel/courier to registered address only incase participant qualifies, souvenir shall be sent in any case. Participation certificate shall be given to all.

3. PLATINUM TICKET (1100 INR): It includes an event poster, beautifully crafted 3D medal, e-certificate, especially designed souvenir for the event, SPECIALLY designed dry fit T-SHIRT and bandana. Medal shall be sent through parcel/courier to registered address only incase participant qualifies, rest things shall be sent through parcel. Participation certificate shall be given to all.

RULES:

1. The purpose of the event is to develop the fitness habits in participants and to motivate them for good health. 

2. To develop the harmony among the riders across the India and to build a strong community.

3. All rides must be with proper safety measures including helmet. For any accident participant shall be liable him/herself, so better avoid risky roads and night rides.

4. First condition to be a sportsman is honesty which we accept from all our participants. Any case of foul practice, candidature shall be discarded.

5. In case of any dispute the final decision will be of organizers and appointed jury if any. 

6. Any error in strava/stopping of strava shall not be entertained if you are in top rankers but can be considered once per participant in special case only.

7. In case of any undefined issue arises the new rules shall be made as per need by organisers and shall be informed accordingly which shall be accepted to all participants.

8. Although there is no provision of refund of money but in case due to some genuine reason if you will not be participating in event then a basic of 10% shall be deducted before start of event and 50% shall be deducted after start of event up to first 7 days. After that no refund shall be entertained.
