Mr. Prasad Wadepally started cycling in 2017 September Achievements: (i) Super Randonneur in 2018 (ii) 100 kms daily for 200 days non-stop (iii) in 365 days 36500kms (iv) 1000 consecutive days of cycling (v) 1 lakh kms from 2018 to 2021 His message to other riders: "l believe in consistency is the key of success" It doesn't matter how slowly you ride, as long as you don't stop. PARMINDER SINGH

KOTAKPURA, PUNJAB

Mr. Parminder Singh started his cycling in 2018. He has done so far 125000 km of cycling. He did 8018km of cycling in September 2020 and stood at first position at world level in one of the virtual event in which world wide 25 lakh cyclists were there. He has also featured in Indian and Asia book of world records for doing 100km for continous 607 days. His message to riders: Keep paddling and keep motivating the society.

Dr Pawan Dhingra, 53yrs , Orthopaedic surgeon practicing at Ludhiana. Started Cycling at age of 47yrs once after left in childhood. He joined Audax India for doing BRM's in May 2017. Achievements: In last 5 years of Audax ,he has done 132 BRM's which includes 29 SR series ( 3 SR 2017, 10SR in 2018, 6SR in 2019, 4 SR in 2020, 3 SR in 2021, 3 SR in 2022 so far) , Five ultra rides ( 1000km twice, 1200km twice,1400km once ), PBP 2019 (LF), RAAM QF Shivalik signature 2018. Soon he is going to participate in LEL August 2022 ( London Edinburgh London) 1525 km ( Five days). He has also done one Duathlon, one Half marathon. His target is to complete 31 SR total this year. He has two India book of records in my name ( First IBR of 15 SR in short span of time, Second IBR of Century BRM' s ) . At present he is leading one with highest BRM's & Maximum SR ' s in India for endurance riding . His Message to new riders : 1) Ride safe & strong 2) Don't Do Race & Reece ( comparison) with other riders 3) Listen & respect to your body. 4) Always know & follow your limits. 5) Train yourself accordingly if you are Pro or Endurance or Amateur rider. 6) Do whatever you are capable of but according to ur limits & training . 7) Enjoy your ride fully interacting with Nature , Local people & Friends 8) You can Meditate & relax while riding also 9) If You are riding for your Physical & Mental fitness , Then Do it accordingly. Don't Over exhaust / Dehydrate & over stress urself.

Mr. Shankar Gadhave, started his journey in order to reduce from 100+ kg in 2017 and started with hobby to habit and became the reknowned name in cycling in central India with his extreme dedication towards cycling. So far he has completed 90000 km of cycling. He has completed Jammu to Pune (2200km), Pune to Kanyakumari (1600km), Pune to Goa (500km), Pune to Kohlapur (500 km in 20 hours). His message to riders: Take cycling as hobby to make it as habit and save environment and live healthy.

Preeti Dattatraya Maske is from Pune, Maharashtra. She is mother of two two teenagers enterprenour , housewife , ultra cyclist, ultra runner, Treker, Triathlete. In 2019 started her own venture and started it from COVID material manufacturing , distributing ended in cleaning material manufacturing , dry fruit supply online & offline wholesale , now have formed private limited Bamboosh bicycles pvt. Ltd. manufacturing bicycles and many bamboo related products . Partner in Top speed cycles who manufacture kids and non geared cycles , one more venture just started as a NGO World on wheels with 3 friends for adventure cycling and Tourism cycling , also going to organise, provide consultancy , support, execution for record attempt as per budget. She gives credit of all this confidence to sports. She has made guinees book of world record for fastest golden triangle by a female in India. Dr. Achyutha Krishnan, a Surgeon by profession from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, a passionate cyclist who has recently done his 100000 km in cycling and has achieved a milestone in cycling. This can be achieved only through regular cycling. A small conversation of Team Indian Cyclists 2020 with him and his replies are here. Q1. What inspired you to start cycling? Ans. I started cycling just as a hobby and fitness routine when I was doing my Post graduation in Chennai Q2. When u started cycling? Ans. Around July 2016 Q3. Why you love cycling so much? Ans. True love has no specific reasons😁 Can list out lots - it's a great stress/depression reliever. There's always something that excites in cycling be it group rides, solo rides, challenges, BRMs, explorations, etc. And we connect with people from all fields of life. Q4. What are your best achievements in cycling so far? Ans. Have done 1 lakh+ kms till date -10 Super Randoneur titles -Inspire India events *Great Himalayan Ultra self supported finisher(Aug 2022) *Deccan Cliffhanger self supported finisher (Nov 2022) -Goa to Kanyakumari 1200 LRM finisher (Oct 2022) -Consecutive 50km or plus rides for 540 days (31-8-2020 to 22-2-2022) - Ended due to covid infection -Ongoing streak of consecutive 50km or plus rides since 31-8-2022 -Wouldnt call this an achievement but I have this habit of giving unique titles to my everyday rides which has a great fan following! Q5. What motivates you everyday to do cycling and how do you manage with your profession? Ans. My everyday streak of 50km which started for just for an online challenge became a daily routine and almost an addiction now. It motivates many known & unknown people around me and also gives me lots of new experiences. So much is possible in cycling for me only because of the support from my family members. All of them are doctors and we have our own hospital with specialist treatment for all Kidney problems. Q6. What's your future goals in cycling? Ans. No specific or fixed goals but always keep trying new things or events which are more challenging -Try to improve own records/statistics -Paris Brest Paris 2023 international event(participated in 2019 but quit midway) -Motivate more people into cycling and specially help those interested in cycling Q7. What is your message to upcoming cyclists? Ans. Cycling is an Endless ocean. Explore, Experiment, Experience and Enjoy. Yes it's a costly sport but there's an option for everyone! Q8. What role Indian Cyclists 2020 played in your cycling journey? Ans. Indian Cyclists 2020 team has always been a constant motivator for my cycling journey since it's commencement. I strive to give my best for all its challenges and happy to be one of the winner everytime. In fact the seed for the present consecutive 50km streak was sown by Team Indian Cyclists 2020 only!
